Biography
Nicolas Faure absolvierte eine Ausbildung als Goldschmied in Genf (1968–1971). Erste fotografische Tätigkeit auf Reisen 1971 bis 1974. Von 1975 bis 1980 war Nicolas Faure in New York als Goldschmied und Fotograf tätig. Von 1981 bis 1983 unterrichtete er Fotografie an der Universität Genf. Seit 2001 ist er Dozent für Fotografie an der Ecole Cantonale d'Art Lausanne ECAL. Er veröffentlichte zahlreiche Arbeiten, unter anderem in «GEO», «Time Life» «Books», «Actuel» und «L'Illustré».
